Pinpoint, a leading talent acquisition platform, secures €21 million growth investment from Expedition Growth Capital. The investment, Pinpoint’s first external capital, will accelerate the company’s product development and go-to-market expansion across the US and UK.
London, 30 March 2023: Pinpoint a fast-growing talent acquisition software company that helps in-house recruitment teams attract, hire and onboard top talent, has secured a €21m growth investment from Expedition Growth Capital (“Expedition”). After five years of bootstrapping and having seen its ARR more than double in 2022, the company has chosen to partner with Expedition to further accelerate its already impressive growth.
Founded in Jersey in 2018 by Tom Hacquoil, Tom Luce and Bill Rogers, Pinpoint’s team have built a leading candidate experience and recruitment software platform, with a particular focus on serving the needs of mid-market and enterprise-scale US and UK companies. Pinpoint’s modern applicant tracking software helps empower more than 500 companies across a variety of blue and white collar industries to collaboratively attract, hire, and onboard candidates across the globe.
Expedition is delighted to be partnering with the founders and entire Pinpoint team at this exciting stage of the company’s development. Pinpoint’s culture and capital efficient growth has been at the heart of its success to date and Expedition’s investment will further enhance these traits as the company scales.
Pinpoint is operating in a large and fragmented market for recruitment software that is still largely dominated by legacy technology. Pinpoint differentiates through a powerful yet highly flexible and intuitive product that scales effectively as businesses grow, all the way from hundreds to tens of thousands of employees. Beyond its exceptional software, Pinpoint is obsessed with providing their customers with all the support, training and guidance they need to get the most from their investment and achieve their recruitment goals in a constantly evolving market for talent.
Tom Hacquoil, CEO and co-founder of Pinpoint, said: “We’re incredibly proud of the business we’ve built to date and are thrilled to have found a partner in Expedition that is so well aligned with our vision of growing in a sustainable way. We spoke to a wide range of potential partners, but the Expedition team stood out, demonstrating an understanding of our business, our market and our thoughtful approach to scaling the business that we didn’t find elsewhere. Their investment is an endorsement of the success we’ve had so far, and we look forward to holding on to our values as we scale.”
Like most SaaS companies in Expedition’s portfolio, Pinpoint has achieved this impressive performance without raising any outside capital and is now ready to realise its ambition of category leadership. We could not be prouder to be Pinpoint’s partner on this journey.
