Maria is an Associate at Expedition Growth Capital. Maria’s responsibilities include thematic research, origination and analysis of new investments.

Prior to joining Expedition, Maria spent three years in the Strategy and M&A team at Avast, a cyber security software company which grew from bootstrapped roots in Prague to become one of Europe’s largest software companies. Maria began her career at J.P. Morgan, where she spent two years in the investment banking division.

Maria graduated from the University of Warwick, where she studied International Management. She spent an additional year at Cornell University.

Maria likes to travel and can be found practicing her surfing and diving skills while abroad. In London, she is pursuing her private pilot’s license and enjoys walks in the park with her dog.
