Expedition welcomes four Operating Advisors with deep experience in building category-defining software companies

London, 16 May 2023: Expedition Growth Capital (“Expedition”) is today pleased to announce the appointment of four Operating Advisors. Ijoma Maluza, Marilyn Miller, Pietro Ferrari and Udi Ledergor bring a wealth of operating expertise from their roles in building category-defining software companies, and they will work closely with the Expedition team to drive growth and provide strategic guidance to Expedition portfolio companies across different functional domains.

• Finance: Ijoma Maluza brings over 15 years of experience in leading finance teams. From 2017 to 2022, Ijoma served as CFO at Blue Prism, a UK-founded robotic process automation software provider. Joining shortly after becoming public, he supported the maturation of the company and was part of the executive team leading the exit to SS&C in March 2022 at a valuation of over £1.2 billion. Ijoma has a strong track record in overseeing and supporting companies delivering exponential growth through successful investment in R&D and go-to-market capabilities.

• HR & Talent: Marilyn Miller has over 25 years of experience as a global HR leader, primarily in the technology sector. She is currently the Chief People Officer at Netskope, a leading data security company, and from 2017 to 2022 served as Chief People Officer at Anaplan, a connected planning software leader, prior to and following the company’s successful IPO. She has unique experience in designing and implementing people strategies for each stage of a company’s growth. Her understanding of the culture as a necessary ingredient to attract and retain top talent has helped companies of all sizes from early stages to IPO and beyond.

• Marketing & Growth: Udi Ledergor is a five-time marketing leader at B2B start-ups with over 20 years of experience in the software industry. He is currently the Chief Evangelist at Gong. Udi has led marketing at Israel-founded Gong for over 6 years, joining the company in 2016 as the first marketing hire and employee number 13. At Gong, Udi has helped build one of the world’s most respected B2B go-to-market engines and pioneered an iconic, human-centric brand, with the company growing from 11 to over 3,500 customers and $200k to hundreds of millions in ARR during his tenure.

• Product & Engineering: Pietro Ferrari has built his career at Board International, where he was a co-founder and served as the Chief Technology Officer. He played a key role from inception in defining and executing on a product vision in Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management software that has led to Board being adopted by over 2,000 leading enterprises globally. Pietro brings over 25 years of experience in R&D, product strategy, and product development.
